“Dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK, but there are many misunderstandings about the illness and how to care for those going through it.”

We were challenged by Dignity In Dementia to help promote awareness of their campaign to support families affected by dementia.


Our approach:

  • Create a short animated film based on a poem about the emotional impact of living with Dementia.

  • Seed the content to families and carers in North West England (the area of focus for the organisation) via social media.

With a strategy agreed, we set about producing the film and getting it in front of the folks who’d find it most useful and moving.

Our film was based on a poem written by a Dignity In Dementia service user.

Over 10,000 family members & carers in North West England viewed the film during our three week campaign. In the three months following, Dignity in Dementia reported a 200% rise in enquiries for their resource booklets
